Privacy
The short version: your bank file is processed on your own computer. It is never uploaded, never stored and never seen by anyone here.
Your files
When you drop a statement onto the converter, your browser reads it from disk into the memory of the page you are looking at. Parsing, column mapping and writing the .qbo file all happen there, in JavaScript. There is no server-side conversion endpoint, so there is nothing to intercept, log or leak. Load the page once and you can disconnect from the network entirely; the converter keeps working. Closing the tab discards everything.
What is stored in your browser
If you join a waiting list for a format that is not ready yet, the address you type is written to this browser's local storage so the page can remember you asked. It is not transmitted anywhere. Clearing your site data removes it.
Analytics and cookies
No advertising trackers and no cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to. If privacy-friendly, aggregate page analytics are added later they will be named here, and they will never receive anything about the contents of a file.
Paid accounts
Paid features will need an email address and a subscription record handled by a payment provider. Even then, no financial data from a converted statement is sent or kept — saved column mappings describe your spreadsheet's layout, not its contents.
